Where we are today

Bagsværd

Located in the suburbs of Copenhagen, MENY Bagsværd became the first multi-brand smart kitchen within a supermarket chain in Europe in January 2023. This fully digital concept, designed to minimize labor costs, operates without direct customer interaction, offering up to an impressive 150 unique food items.

This groundbreaking project was a collaborative effort between two unlikely parties. Noahs a young start-up and Dagrofa a retail giant! Noahs provided the franchise platform, including access to technology, architecture, and food brands, while MENY contributed the capital expenditure and operational capacity, integrating it with their existing organization.

Vision

Danish retail conglomerate Dagrofa A/S was the first to introduce multi-brand franchising in Denmark through Noahs. Their vision was to launch a large-scale smart kitchen pilot featuring 15 brands for their premium supermarket chain, MENY.

The long-term vision for Noahs and MENY is to create a scalable smart kitchen concept within supermarkets, providing high-quality takeaway food through customizable modules tailored to the needs of individual stores.

We share a common vision for the future of food, and MENY is poised to play a pivotal role in shaping this future. By actively participating in the Noahs ecosystem, MENY and Dagrofa are making a significant leap forward for the industry, contributing to the creation of the next-generation restaurant platform.

"MENY should offer more than just groceries. We need to provide our customers with food experiences, inspiration, and top-tier innovation. Together with Noahs, we have developed a concept that combines new advanced technology with high-quality meals. We aim to change the conditions for take-away and revolutionize the market in collaboration with Noahs.”

Rødovre

Located at Q8's Rødovre service station, Noahs introduces a groundbreaking smart kitchen concept that redefines food offerings at petrol stations.

This project is a collaborative effort between Noahs, known for its innovative foodtech solutions, and Q8, a leading player in Denmark's fuel and convenience retail sector. The kitchen, though compact at only 22 square meters, is designed to deliver restaurant-quality meals across a variety of cuisines, including burgers, tacos, and fresh salads.

This pilot kitchen features 6 individual brands for delivery services but also caters to on-the-go customers, all within a vibrant and modern in-store environment

Vision

The partnership between Noahs and Q8 is revolutionizing the convenience food sector at service stations.

As the demand for quick yet high-quality meal options surges, Noahs seamlessly integrates into Q8's existing operations, transforming the convenience experience and setting new industry standards.

Together, Noahs and Q8 Rødovre are at the forefront of this evolution, offering a sophisticated multi-brand experience that combines advanced technology with culinary excellence and unparalleled convenience.

We strive to transform service stations into the digital marketplaces of the future.

Glostrup

Located in Glostrup Shoppingcenter, Noahs Glostrup is a modern, multi-brand restaurant concept featuring up to 10 different brands. Owned and operated by Memo and Sezai, a father and son duo, this restaurant marks the transformation of their previous establishment, "Café Siesta," into a next-generation Noahs franchise—a classic café reimagined for today’s dining landscape.

This pilot project, initiated by Danish Shopping Centres (DSC), explores a new approach to franchising fully finished concept restaurants developed in collaboration with Noahs, rather than simply leasing empty units. The high-tech, multi-brand kitchen offers a diverse menu from several popular brands, all served in a cozy, Scandinavian-inspired setting. With seating for up to 70 guests, both indoors and outdoors, Noahs Glostrup provides a modern, yet welcoming environment tailored to the tastes of the local community.

This venture sets a precedent for future collaborations between DSC, Noahs, and other local restaurateurs, paving the way for more efficient and profitable operations within shopping centers

Vision

The partnership between Noahs and DSC is not just about redefining the dining experience within shopping centers—it's about creating a seamless, modern ecosystem that empowers restaurant operators to thrive in the digital age. By streamlining legal, finance, and IT administration, Noahs offers a robust framework that simplifies operations, allowing tenants to focus on what they do best: delivering exceptional food and service.

This collaboration provides tenants with cutting-edge tools and customizability, enabling them to adapt their offerings to local tastes and demands efficiently. By equipping these local heroes with the resources they need to succeed, Noahs makes them more competitive, profitable, and attractive to both operators and customers alike. Together, we are not only enhancing the food and beverage offerings but also transforming our centers into dynamic, community-focused hubs that set new standards in retail and dining.

"Our ambition is to own and operate the best shopping centers in the country, and with the opening of the new NOAHS in Glostrup Shopping Center, we are taking yet another step on this journey. At DSC, we always focus on ensuring that our centers are current and attractive to our many customers, and part of our strategy is also to develop the dining experience."

Roskilde

Roskilde Station, a historic site built in 1847 and nearly 180 years old, provided the ideal location for our small-scale suburban concept where great takeaway options were limited. As a listed cultural heritage site, the station demanded a creative architectural approach, leading to the innovative boat-like design with the kitchen at the center and high tables along the sides. The front features an open access window hatch, while the primary service is conducted through digital ordering and pickup boxes.

This setup minimizes customer interaction and significantly reduces labor costs compared to the traditional brick-and-mortar restaurant model. The kitchen hosts 8 distinct brands and serves as a flagship unit for DSB, showcasing how future train stations can feature food in style

Vision

DSB was on the lookout for a partner in food to elevate their convenience offerings with freshly made takeaway meals, redefining the concept of ‘food on the go’ at Denmark’s train stations. As vehicle autonomy advances and the future of travel evolves, it is essential to enhance the journey itself. With Noahs, DSB will not only improve the travel experience but also revitalize the many beautiful station properties currently underutilized, transforming them into vibrant community hubs.

These stations will do more than just transport people from A to B—they will bring people together, fostering a sense of community while continuing to be a vital and dependable part of Denmark’s transportation network for many decades to come

"We are starting with a restaurant in Roskilde as the first NOAHS in the country at a station. We are doing this because Roskilde Station has a size and location that allows us to gain experience, which could eventually lead to spreading the concept to more of our stations ."
